Dicro Butterflies

I’m trying to get back on track with my Etsy site. I’ve posted a few new pieces. This pretty red pendant has four cute butterflies made from Dicro Slide.

Handmade Pendant Classic Butterfly

I was asked to make a butterfly on a green background for a lady who frequents the same forum as I do. I made a series of them because I didn’t know which one she would prefer.

I like how this one turned out, it is simple yet elegant. I think the sepia color of the butterfly pairs really nicely with the green background. When I look at the pendant it seems to me like it is landing on a field of grass.

This pendant can be found on my etsy page here.

Butterflies and Flowers

I love this pendant! It has delicate flowers with little butterflies fluttering around them. The butterflies are set in a field of beautiful blue bringing to mind a summer day.

The decal is created on my computer and printed up on a laser printer. The fusing process makes the black ink change to the lovely sepia color.

This pendant can be found on my etsy page here.

Bubbly pink and green glass pendant

This pendant turned out different than I thought it would. Cute little bubbles formed around the dichroic glass and it looks like soda water bubbling up.

I’ve read some information on how to create bubbles in glass and this pendant makes me want to try it sometime.

I don’t know what color I would do it with, if it would be the dicro again or maybe a green and I could call it sprite.

You can find this pendant on my Etsy site here.

This adorable pendant features a little grave my a gnarled tree. I really like this pendant because the orange color really makes the black of the tree and grave really pop. Like all my other pendants it is covered by a layer of resin on a scrabble tile. Grave and Tree PendantThese cute pendants are easy to make, and I will create a walk through soon.

Welcome!

I have many goals for this blog, I want it to be a window into my crafting process. I am learning how to create and I would like to share the journey with everyone who is interested. Also I want it to be a showcase for the pendants and other crafts I have created.

I have many mediums I like to work with, my latest obsession being glass. I’ve been teaching myself how to lampwork and have created a lot of fun pendants out of my experiments. Recently I got a kiln working so that I could learn to slump and fuse glass into jewelry.

I also enjoy working with polymer clay. I have fun creating cutesy pendants an pins. I love that you can create simple or complex designs, what ever strikes your fancy.

Because we are heading into October I think I’m going to start my showcase highlighting the Halloween scrabble tile pendants I’ve made. These fun pendants add a festive flare to any outfit.

I hope you enjoy going on this journey with me and maybe become inspired to share your crafts with me.
